Job summary

Brookfield Properties Multifamily LLC is seeking a dedicated maintenance/custodial team member for a multi-unit residential property. You will perform groundskeeping, cleaning of common areas, and support maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Daily responsibilities include site walks, litter removal, restroom upkeep, and assisting with make-ready/turns. A High school diploma and ability to work outdoors in all weather are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Prior custodial, groundskeeping, or maintenance experience preferred at multi-unit properties.
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions; lifting and climbing stairs.
• Computer and smartphone literacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily property walks to police litter and debris from grounds and common areas.
• Clean and maintain leasing office, clubhouses, fitness centers, and common restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, wax, and polish floors; clean carpets and windows in common areas.
• Assist maintenance with make-ready/unit turns and trash-outs of vacant units.
• Provide courteous, professional service to residents, prospects, and vendors.
• Inspect grounds for hazards and report safety issues to supervisor.
• Support a clean, safe, and positive community environment.
