Job summary

AirNow, a Southern Home Services Company, is seeking a Service Electrician/Generator Technician to install, service, and repair residential electrical and generator systems. You will troubleshoot issues, work with customers, and ensure safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates have Generac certification, a valid driver’s license, and at least 2 years of related experience, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. OT, weekends, and evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Generac certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with generator systems.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to perform regular maintenance and repairs.
• Willingness to overtime, weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential systems.
• Install and service generator systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose problems for customers.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and codes.
• Interact with customers to diagnose problems and propose solutions.
• Inspect electrical systems and components for hazards and compliance.
• Perform light maintenance on plumbing, HVAC/R units, and related tasks.
• Support repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
