Southern Home Services is seeking a Service Electrician/Generator Technician to manage electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential systems and generator services.

You will troubleshoot, install, test, and service generator systems while ensuring safety standards and codes. Strong technical skills, problem solving, and excellent communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in a similar role.
• Experience with generator systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Advanced maintenance procedures knowledge.
• Availability for overtime, including weekends/holidays.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Well-organized with strong prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential systems.
• Install, test, and service generator systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and resolve defects to safety standards.
• Interact with customers to diagnose problems and recommend solutions.
• Perform light maintenance across plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC/R units.
• Inspect systems to ensure safety and compliance.
