Job summary

Odevo US OPCO LLC is seeking a field-based Maintenance Technician to service residential community associations nationwide from Tampa, FL. You will respond to maintenance requests, diagnose across trades, and close work orders using our mobile platform.

Preferred candidates have 2+ years hands-on experience in residential or commercial maintenance, knowledge of at least two trades, and a valid driver's license. You will travel locally between sites and uphold safety standards on every job.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in residential or commercial maintenance.
• Knowledge of at least two trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, basic schematics, and scope documents.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for work orders and timekeeping.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive maintenance requests within service-level timelines.
• Diagnose issues across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Complete assigned work orders with labor, materials, photos, and notes.
• Identify scope changes and escalate to Maintenance Director before out-of-scope work.
• Obtain acknowledgments on change orders or NTE adjustments as required.
• Interacting courteously with residents, boards, and managers and maintaining records.
