Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of properties meet safety, cleanliness, and operational standards. You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks for vacant units while coordinating with vendors and management.

The role involves inspecting and maintaining grounds, responding to resident requests, and documenting work thoroughly. A valid driver’s license and refrigerant certification are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Makes-ready preparations for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Obtains materials and tools from the maintenance department, tracks inventory, and notifies when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately and timely for proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs, and assisting in other tasks as needed.
