EIHAB Human Services in Hamilton, NJ seeks compassionate Part‑Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide on‑site behavioral health care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

Join a team focused on creating a safe, therapeutic, and family‑like environment where residents can thrive and gain independence. Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00am–3:00pm, with pay $18.25–$19.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work or life experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years driving history).
• Must complete and maintain all required training.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily structure, supervision, and support to individuals in a residential program.
• Assist with daily living skills, personal care, medication administration, and recreational activities.
• Implement and contribute to Individual Habilitation Plans and/or Treatment Plans.
• Observe, document, and communicate significant behavioral changes and notable incidents.
• Act as a liaison and advocate for individuals and their families, facilitating access to community resources.
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, EIHAB policies, and safety standards.
• Cooperate fully during inspections and investigations by EIHAB and regulatory agencies.
• Report all unusual incidents in accordance with Division Circular #14 and agency policies.
