Job summary

The Department for Persons with Disabilities in New Jersey seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Qualifications

• Motivated to work as part of a team.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Valid (non-provisional) driver's license required.
• Ability to meet CPR/First Aid training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Help meet the personal health, safety, and welfare of residents.
• Assist/supervise individuals in personal care areas.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and residents.
• Drive residents to/from day programs.
