GFL Industries is seeking a dedicated driver to operate residential recycling and waste collection routes in Gainesville, FL. You will load materials, operate compaction equipment, and maintain safe, efficient routes while following all safety protocols.

Applicants should have a valid CDL, at least one year of driving experience, and the ability to meet safety requirements. The role involves daily inspections, PPE use, and potential supervision of helpers as needed.

Competenze

• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.

Mansioni

• Operate residential/recycling collection trucks on assigned routes.
• Load waste/recyclables and operate vehicle to compact materials.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete daily reports.
• Communicate mechanical issues to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain route quality and adhere to safety policies.
• Ensure proper PPE is worn and safety rules are followed.
• Assist with training or supervising helpers as assigned.
• Attend safety and branch meetings and support routing efficiency.
