Job summary

GFL Industries is hiring a Residential Driver in a full-time role. You will safely operate a residential collection truck on assigned curbside and backdoor routes, loading waste and recyclables while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

The position requires a CDL and a proven ability to drive and maneuver a heavy vehicle, with emphasis on courteous customer service and adherence to all applicable laws and company policies. Overtime may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• CDL required or equivalent
• 1+ year of commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate residential collection trucks and equipment

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection truck on assigned routes.
• Load waste and recyclables into the vehicle and ensure proper containment.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor or mechanic promptly.
• Maintain route quality and safety standards throughout the day.
• Interact professionally with customers and the public on route.
