Job summary

The Center for Human Development (CHD) in West Springfield, MA seeks a Program Manager for our DMHAS program. The role focuses on clinical, residential and outreach management training and supervision for staff delivering psychiatric services.

Requirements include 3 years in mental health or related human services with 24-hour residential experience and 2 years of supervisory experience; a Bachelor's degree is required and a Master's degree is preferred. A valid driver's license is needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in mental health treatment or human services with a focus on 24-hour residential treatment
• 2 years of supervisory or management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, counseling, or related field with an emphasis on mental health treatment is required
• Master’s degree in a mental health field preferred
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for work purposes

Responsibilities

• Program policy and procedure implementation and oversight of all residential responsibilities
• Monitoring the operations of the home including compliance with licensing and accrediting organizations program treatment implementation
• Supervision of direct support professionals
• Support staff with training of person-centered plans
• Oversight of program administrative processes
• Hiring, training, and overall management of the home

Education

Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, counseling, or related field

Master’s degree in a mental health field
