Gateways to Change, Inc. is seeking a Residential Director to lead services for individuals with developmental disabilities in Rhode Island. You will oversee scheduling, program development, data collection, and staff supervision, ensuring confidentiality and respectful care.

This full-time role runs 8am–4pm with every other weekend, offers comprehensive benefits, mileage reimbursement, and professional growth opportunities through collaborative teamwork and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Human Services field.
• Forty hours per week, 8am-4pm shift, including every other weekend.
• Two years working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and existing insurance/registrations.
• Criminal background check required.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates respect and a caring attitude toward clients.
• Maintains confidentiality of clients and programs.
• Communicates pertinent information on clients' needs and programs to team members.
• Supervises staff, including observations and feedback.
• Participates in ISP process and meetings.
• Writes annual progress reports and collects reports from professionals.
• Implements teaching programs from goals/objectives and tracks progress.
• Ensures consistency in implementing behavioral procedures.
