The role involves direct instruction, staff training, and collaboration with the treatment team to support adults with developmental and physical disabilities. The candidate should have experience in human services, hold a valid driver’s license, pass a background check, and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• One year working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and existing insurance, registrations & inspection.
• Criminal background check with no disqualifying offenses.

Responsibilities

• Create, adapt, and maintain daily and weekly staff and consumer activity schedules to ensure programs are carried out and adequate staff are scheduled.
• Provide direct instruction to consumers and model teaching techniques developed by the treatment team.
• Conduct and document staff training on human rights, behavior management, first aid, medication administration, illness detection, and household systems.
