United Counseling Service (UCS) is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Residential to provide direct support to individuals in the group home setting in Bennington County. Under the supervision of the Group Home Manager, you will implement Individual Support Agreements (ISAs) and participate in daily activities to foster independence and growth.

Competenze

• Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook for internal email communication.
• Direct service experience is preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Direct service to individuals under supervision of the Group Home Manager.
• Implement each ISA consistently to promote independence and growth.
• Participate in daily routines including self-care, money management, dining and social activities.
• Administer medications as assigned and ensure accuracy in medication tasks.
• Communicate with nursing staff in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Advocate for individuals, ensuring respect, safety and dignity.
• Follow all regulations, policies, procedures and service plans.
• Collaborate with the Group Home team on program implementation and development.
• Attend scheduled meetings and participate in team discussions.
• Implement ISAs as written and assist with ISAs development.
• Complete required trainings as assigned.
• Record progress notes, monthly summaries, and other documentation timely.
• Maintain housekeeping tasks and general home management.
