Job summary

United Counseling Service of Bennington County is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Residential) for a full-time position in Vermont. The role requires providing direct support, implementing Individual Support Agreements, and participating in daily group home activities.

Supervisory guidance will be provided by the Group Home Manager. Responsibilities include direct care, medication administration, documentation, and collaboration with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Direct Service experience is preferred.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct Service: implement ISAs, support daily routines, med administration, communicate with nursing staff, advocate for individuals, follow plans.
• Program Implementation & Development: work with Group Home team, attend meetings, implement ISAs, complete trainings.
• Recordkeeping: enter data and progress notes, prepare monthly summaries, maintain required records.
• Housekeeping & Home Management: housekeeping, grocery, cooking, supply orders, maintenance, report issues to supervisor.
