Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) is seeking a Direct Support Professional - Residential for a full-time 2nd shift. The DSP provides direct service to individuals, implements Individual Support Agreements (ISAs), and participates in daily activities within the group home.

The role includes medication administration as assigned, promoting independence, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure safe, person-centered care in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typing, Windows skills, and e-mail usage are required or strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements each individual's ISA and supports daily routines to foster independence and growth.
• Performs medication administration as assigned and communicates with nursing staff as appropriate.
• Maintains accurate data including progress notes and summaries for the group home operations.
• Performs general housekeeping, shopping, cooking, and other duties as assigned.
