Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) seeks a Direct Support Professional – Residential, Gatling – Per Diem to provide direct services to individuals in a group home setting. This on-call role supports ISAs, medication administration as assigned, and engagement in daily activities and community outings.

Under supervision, the DSP will assist with routine living tasks, data entry, and coordination with nursing staff, while maintaining compliance with regulations and plans of service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typing and Windows skills; proficient with email.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Direct service to residents and implement Individual Support Agreements (ISAs).
• Participate in daily routines including self-care, money management, dining, problem solving, interpersonal activities, and community outings.
• Administer medications as assigned and communicate with nursing staff as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate data entry, progress notes, and monthly summaries for the group home.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and household management duties; report any issues to the Group Home Manager.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
