Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) is seeking a Direct Support Professional - Residential for full-time 2nd shift in Bennington County. The DSP provides direct services to residents, implements ISAs, assists with daily activities, and supports medication administration under supervision.

Responsibilities include routine care, documentation, and coordination with nursing staff. Requirements include a high school diploma, typing/Windows skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Typing skills, Windows skills, typing and navigating, and e-mail usage.

Responsibilities

• Direct service: follow ISAs, assist with daily routines, medication administration as assigned, and advocate for residents.
• Participate in group home team meetings and ISA development.
• Enter data and progress notes; maintain monthly summaries and records.
• Perform housekeeping, grocery shopping, cooking, and maintenance tasks; report issues to supervisor.
