Monarch is seeking a Developmental Specialist to support individuals in achieving personal dreams and participating in their communities. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, advocacy, and relationship-building, while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license required/USA.
• Experience working with individuals with mental health or developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess people in pursuing hopes, dreams, and goals and provide supports.
• Help individuals build relationships in their community and with natural supports.
• Assist participation in community activities aligned with interests.
• Protect and promote the rights of people receiving services and support advocacy.
• Provide for emotional, physical, and medical needs as required.
• Maintain person-centered relationships and promote self-determination.
• Input and implement plans, document progress and outcomes as required.
• Complete daily progress notes and logs for appointments and goals.
• Assist with home operations: housekeeping, meals, laundry, shopping, lawn care.
• Drive and arrange transportation when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and conduct drills; ensure equipment safety.
• Mentor new staff, attend meetings and trainings; sleepovers may be required.
• Maintain certification and comply with all policies and regulations.
