Job summary

Vinfen is seeking a Residential Counselor in Connecticut to provide direct support in small group residences or individual living arrangements. You will implement treatment plans, assist with daily living activities, and help residents engage with their communities.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, transporting residents for appointments, and coordinating with nurses and case managers. CPR/First Aid and MAC-compliant medication handling are required within two weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience and/or training in a related function is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driving is a requirement with valid license and safe driving record.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and be physically active.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document treatment and programs.
• Provide training and support in rehabilitation and daily living tasks.
• Assist residents with community integration and recreational activities.
• Provide transportation as needed for outings and appointments.
• Maintain records and enter data into electronic health records.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and log documentation; support allergies and incident reporting.
