Job summary

BAMSI is seeking a Residential Counselor to support adults in Group Living Environments in West Fairhill. The role offers a 30-hour schedule, with pay between $20 and $23.75 per hour, and requires MAP certification or willingness to obtain it within 3 months.

Qualifications

• MAP certification required; candidates must obtain within 3 months.
• High school diploma or GED required; direct care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments; foster daily living skills and community integration.
• Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization.
• Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Administer/supervise medications by MAP guidelines and document care.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.

Schedule: 30 hrs- Sat 3p-11p, Sun 9a-11p, Wed 3p-11p
