Job summary

Brockton Area Multi-Servi (BAMSI) seeks a Residential Counselor to support adults in Group Living Environments in Carver, MA. You will promote daily living skills, community integration, and trauma‑informed care under clinical guidance.

Responsibilities include teaching ADLs, implementing treatment plans, medication administration and documentation, plus assisting with transportation to activities. A high school diploma is required; MAP certification and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mental health experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English.

• Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.

What You Bring:

• High school diploma/GED; mental health experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.).
• Strong communication skills (English) and basic computer proficiency.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to trauma-informed care.
• Bonus : Lived experience or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese).
