Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations at a multifamily property in Virginia. You will supervise staff, maintain tenant relations, and ensure high quality service.

Responsibilities include managing maintenance, conducting regular inspections, preparing reports, handling rent collection, and coordinating with the Regional Manager on policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing residential communities and staff.
• Ability to supervise maintenance personnel and coordinate operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to and assurance that rental programs are properly executed.
• Establish good tenant relations with maintenance personnel.
• Regularly inspect the buildings, grounds and physical appearance of the property.
• Prepare reports outlining property condition and maintenance operations.
• Inform the Regional Manager of deferred maintenance and deficiencies in writing.
• Interview all potential residents and process verifications to determine eligibility.
• Rent collection and record keeping, including trips to banks.
• Maintain files and purchasing records.
• Develop and implement site activities for residents.
• Attend mandatory meetings and seminars.
• Communicate in English and basic arithmetic.
