Job summary

Metropolitan Ministries in Florida is seeking an in-office case manager for the residential shelter program to assess needs and connect families with services.

You will maintain confidential client records, support data quality and reporting, and coordinate family-centered decisions with the team to promote self-sufficiency and stability.

Requires strong organizational skills, English and Spanish proficiency, and a heart for ministry; training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Human Services preferred.
• Knowledge of homeless issues and experience with clients facing crisis.
• willingness to pursue related certifications or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provides weekly case-management services for families in the Residential Shelter Program.
• Maintains client notes, history, and data; ensures confidentiality.
• Oversees data quality of client files and coordinates entry effects.
• Coordinates Sanctuary groups and monthly follow-ups.
• Organizes meetings for family-related decisions.
• Generates and reports client outcomes for funders.
• Maintains professional boundaries and client contact weekly.
• Supports grant reporting and coordinates with service providers.
