Job summary

Road to Responsibility in Pembroke, MA seeks a Direct Care/Residential Staff member to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will perform case management duties and assist with daily living activities under the Residential Manager's supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to undergo mandated trainings and background checks. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered for new full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year experience in human services.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least two years direct human services experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Completion and maintenance of mandated trainings including medication administration.
• Willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and related disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational duties assigned by the Residential Manager.
• Perform case management duties including progress notes and ISPs.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and document minutes.
• Provide transportation as required by the program.
• Oversee shift documentation and ensure accurate reporting.
• Instruct, supervise, and evaluate individuals in community living.
• Implement behavior plan interventions as assigned; may include physical restraint.
• Assist with scheduling medical appointments and document appropriately.
• Assist with social and leisure activities for individuals.
• Maintain residence and yard in clean, orderly condition.
• Assist with personal care responsibilities and direct care needs.
• Participate in on-the-job training and coaching of new staff.
• Adhere to RTR policies and professional communication standards.

Education

Bachelor’s degree and one year experience in human services
