Job summary

Road To Responsibility Inc. is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Specialist to assist adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will perform case management and operational duties under the Residential Manager, including daily medication tasks and transportation.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic Word/Internet skills, and a preference for related field education with residential experience. A CORI/background check is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Internet required.
• Education in psychology, social work, special education or related human service field preferred; at least one year residential experience.
• Willingness to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and related disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational duties as assigned by the Residential Manager (e.g., ordering medication, budgeting, shopping).
• Perform case management tasks: attend meetings, write progress notes, develop support plans and assessments.
• Maintain documentation, participate in team meetings, and assist with program development and evaluation.
• Administer medications per procedures and provide transportation as required.
• Support individuals with daily living, community activities, and medical appointment scheduling.
