Job summary

YAI is hiring an Assistant Supervisor to lead and support Direct Support Professionals across various settings, including homes and community programs. You will handle scheduling, training, and administrative oversight while ensuring high-quality person-centered care for individuals supported by YAI.

The role requires prior supervisory experience in direct care, a related bachelor’s degree, and the ability to coordinate staff, budgets, and program compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Experience supervising Direct Support Professionals is preferred.
• Willingness to lead and train staff on shift.

Responsibilities

• Performs DSP duties to ensure supervision, safety and quality care.
• Lead on shift and supervise staff in absence of Program Supervisor.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and coverage for assigned program.
• Oversee training, credentials and program documentation for staff.
• Coordinate supplies, inventories and facility upkeep as needed.
