Job summary

Taleo in New York City is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee residential aides and ensure safety and compliance with DHS, OTDA, and other regulations. You will coordinate staff schedules, supervise training, and monitor facilities to maintain a secure, supportive environment for clients.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a proactive approach to incident reporting and quality improvement. On-site work and regular training are expected in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
• Associate’s degree preferred for advancement.
• F-80 certification required.
• Food Handler's Certificate preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrange operations staff schedule for coverage.
• Coordinate client laundry machine usage schedules.
• Conduct staff training and ensure licenses are up to date.
• Review incident reports and provide training to enhance accuracy.
• Maintain open communication with the director of operations.
• Interact with clients to promote a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
• Attend mandatory in-service annually.
• All other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or supervisory staff.
