Kinsley Power Systems in New York, NY is seeking a Shift Supervisor to work with the director of operations to oversee residential aides and ensure services meet DHS and OTDA standards. The role supports client safety and a 24/7 safe facility.

You will coordinate staffing, train staff on procedures, monitor spaces, and enforce health and safety protocols. Strong leadership, communication, and bilingual abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in congregate setting.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience.
• F-80 required.
• Food Handler's Certificate required.
• CPR/First Aid required (on-site).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to speak/write English.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsabilités

• Arrange operations staff schedule for appropriate coverage.
• Coordinate schedule for clients’ use of laundry machines.
• Conduct onsite training for Residential aides.
• Spot checks while on duty.
• Monitor spaces for safety per CP and DHS standards.
• Ensure kitchen meets DOHMH standards and RA attire.
• Coordinate linen distribution and laundry procedures.
• Ensure food vendor deliveries meet DOHMH standards.
• Accept meals and check temperatures.
• Collect daily food samples and store discard after 72 hours.
• Review incident reports and provide training to improve accuracy.
• Report priority incidents to SIU and log in CARES.
• Coordinate room/dorm inspections with aides.
• Carry Narcan kits and employee IDs at all times.
• Review logbooks and provide feedback to aides.
• Demonstrate teamwork and open communication with leadership.
• Interact with clients to maintain a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
• Review client sign-in/out for accuracy.
• Attend mandatory in-service training.
