Job summary

LIFE BALANCE LLC in Utah seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to provide supervision, support, and structure for residents in a residential treatment setting. You will help maintain safety, enforce program expectations, and assist residents in developing healthy coping skills.

You will collaborate with clinical and case management teams to monitor resident stability and progress, and you will complete required documentation and participate in crisis interventions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in behavioral health or residential treatment preferred.
• Ability to stay calm and consistent in high-stress situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• On-call coverage for residential facility.
• Supervise residents and maintain a safe environment.
• Enforce rules, schedules and house guidelines.
• Monitor behavior and report concerns to supervisors.
• Support residents in coping skills and emotional regulation.
• Assist in crisis de-escalation and conflict resolution.
• Provide supervision during meals, groups, transport, and activities.
• Complete shift notes and incident reports.
