Job summary

Sunstone HR Consulting is partnering with a residential behavioral health organization in Hurricane, Utah, to hire Behavioral Health Technicians to support adolescent boys in a structured, on-site setting. You will assist with daily routines, emotional regulation, safety, and life-skills training under supervision.

Responsibilities include crisis de-escalation, documentation, and teamwork with therapists and nurses to meet treatment goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Daily routines: support students with structured schedules and activities.
• Crisis intervention: verbal de-escalation and, when clinically necessary, approved holds to ensure safety.
• Crisis prevention: apply proactive strategies to reduce risk.
• Treatment alignment: ensure progress aligns with treatment plans.
• Documentation: maintain thorough records of interactions and progress.
• Team engagement: participate in staff and house activities to foster teamwork.
• Housekeeping: perform light daily tasks to maintain living spaces.
