Job summary

Valley Behavioral Health in Salt Lake City seeks a Client Care Technician to provide direct support in residential and housing programs, helping residents build life skills and pursue treatment goals in a safe, therapeutic environment.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, assist with activities, medication management, UA collection, and documentation, while promoting independence and recovery progress.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification (Post-hire).
• Preferred: behavioral health or social services experience.
• Preferred: experience with medication management.

Responsibilities

• Engages clients in activities and interactions designed to support treatment and recovery goals.
• Provides individualized support to address personal challenges and promote growth.
• Taught independent living skills in one-to-one sessions and weekly group sessions.
• Observes client behavior and communicates significant observations to the treatment team.
• Conducts accountability conversations with clients regarding behavior and program expectations.
• Collects urine analysis (UA) samples and ensures proper documentation and storage.
• Distributes medications and follows medication management procedures.
• Maintains accurate documentation of all client interactions and outcomes.
• Transports clients to off-site appointments or community activities within program guidelines.
