This role requires calmly handling high-stress situations, enforcing house guidelines, documenting shift notes, and maintaining professional boundaries. A high school diploma is required; CPR/First Aid is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, mental health or substance use preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and consistent in high-stress situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents and maintain a safe, structured environment.
• Enforce program rules, schedules, and house guidelines consistently.
• Monitor resident behavior and report concerns to supervisors.
• Support residents in using healthy coping skills and emotional regulation techniques.
• Assist with conflict resolution and de-escalation during crises.
• Provide supervision during meals, groups, recreation, and community activities.
• Complete documentation including shift notes and incident reports.
