Job summary

AltaPointe Health in Alabama is seeking Behavioral Aides to support residents in our Adult Residential Services. Responsibilities include monitoring, basic living skills training, meal preparation, and assisting with personal care, while ensuring safety and dignity for adults with serious mental illness.

The role is full-time, on-site, with a sign-on bonus discussed during interview. Flexible shifts and potential overtime are noted; prior healthcare or residential care experience is beneficial

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Maintain a valid Alabama driver license and proof of current liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic observation and monitoring of consumers in the group home.
• Conduct daily assessment of consumer behavior and training on basic living skills.
• Transport consumers to appointments and outings; assist with personal care and meals.
