Job summary

Tides, Inc. seeks a compassionate Residential Advisor to maintain a safe, structured environment for women and children in our residential recovery program.

You will provide daily supervision, guidance, and support while modeling professionalism and trauma-informed care. Responsibilities include crisis response, documentation, and collaboration with care managers and clinical staff to support resident progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use recovery, trauma-informed care, or related fields preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and boundary-setting skills are essential.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, nights, or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision, guidance, and support to residents.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and structured residential environment.
• Reinforce program guidelines and daily routines.
• Respond to crises and communicate concerns to leadership.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with residential and clinical staff.
• Model trauma-informed, recovery-oriented behavior and professionalism.
• Assist residents with daily living skills and activities.
• Transport residents to appointments using a company vehicle.
• Collaborate with care managers and leadership to support resident progress.
