Job summary

Refuge for Women is a faith-based organization providing safe housing and trauma-informed programming for women escaping trafficking or exploitation. The Residential Coordinator ensures a safe, structured environment, overseeing daily operations, supporting stabilization, and aligning with the mission.

You will manage house operations, respond to crises, collaborate with staff and volunteers, and promote healing within a faith-based context.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred.
• Successful background check and drug test.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.
• Experience in residential or recovery settings is a plus.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in a faith-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Uphold resident guidelines, daily schedules, and program expectations.
• Provide direct resident support, mentoring, accountability.
• Facilitate life skills workshops, group sessions, and check-ins.
• Complete shift and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Respond to crisis situations following safety protocols.
• Oversee logistics for resident transitions (intake, exits, room prep).
• Coordinate with staff and volunteers for appointments and activities.
