Job summary

Plymouth Housing is seeking a Community Resource Navigator in Seattle, WA. This role focuses on delivering culturally proficient support to residents, educating newcomers on building operations, and collaborating with a on-site Resident Wellbeing team to foster safety and belonging.

The position emphasizes harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and a housing-first approach, with duties spanning event planning, transportation coordination, and community engagement within a multi-stakeholder

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in human services, preferably with low-income, diverse, homeless, and special needs populations.
• Experience coordinating events.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and de-escalation is desired.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate calendared activities and meetings with internal departments.
• Maintain logs and program documentation including tenant satisfaction surveys.
• Organize culturally relevant activities and events for residents.
• Provide orientation for new residents and assist in acclimation to building operations.
• Arrange transportation for resident groups and plan community trips.
• Foster safety, community cohesion, and tenant leadership.
• Participate in staff and Plymouth committees as required.
