Job summary

Volunteers Of America Western Washington is seeking a Resident Community Resource Advocate to coordinate on-site resource navigation for residents across Snohomish County housing communities. You will provide referrals, assist with benefits access, and support wellbeing and stability through partnerships with housing staff and community partners.

The role emphasizes collaboration, schedule flexibility, and careful documentation of contacts and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering direct support, outreach, or resource navigation to individuals and families accessing community-based services.
• Ability to travel within Snohomish County.
• Strong documentation and data tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resource and referral assistance to residents via phone, email, and in person.
• Assist residents with accessing public benefits, housing, healthcare, and food assistance.
• Coordinate resident-focused events and community engagement activities.
• Maintain records of contacts, referrals, and services.
• Collaborate with property staff and service providers.
• Promote TenantConnect resources and update website/database.
