Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to provide reliable, resident-focused transportation within the community. The role runs full-time from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday, and includes scheduling, resident communication, and operational support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ years old with at least 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Must hold a valid state Driver’s License (Class E in Missouri) and have a Clean MVR.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lift systems while assisting residents with mobility needs.
• Previous experience with older adults, transportation, or coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services during scheduled work hours (8am–4pm, Mon–Thu).
• Safely operate community vehicles to provide medical, recreational, and personal transportation.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in the digital transportation management system.
• Maintain vehicle readiness with routine inspections and keep vehicles clean and in good condition.
• Support Entertainment & Programming team with outings and events, planning and safety adherence.
• During non-driving hours, provide community support including programming and interdepartmental tasks.
