Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to deliver a structured, reliable transportation program within our community. The role involves coordinating schedules, communicating with residents, and providing operational support alongside driving duties.

Responsibilities include safe operation of community vehicles, managing transport requests, and assisting with programming and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21+ years old with at least 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid state Driver’s License (Class E in Missouri) and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services during scheduled hours (including designated medical days).
• Safely operate community vehicles for medical, recreational, and personal transport.
• Enter and manage transport requests in the digital transportation system; ensure schedules align with guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle readiness with routine inspections and clean, fueled vehicles.
• Support Entertainment & Programming team with outings and events, including planning and safety adherence.
• Provide non-driving support such as programming and interdepartmental tasks during scheduled hours.
