Job summary

Covenant Retirement Communities and Covenant Care is seeking a Per Diem Driver to transport residents to medical appointments and community events, ensuring safety and comfort during every ride.

Responsibilities include assisting residents, performing daily van checks, reporting repairs, and maintaining a clean vehicle. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid license, and at least two years of driving or related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL if applicable.
• Minimum 2+ years of driving/transport experience or related work.

Responsibilities

• Drive the van on scheduled appointments and activities.
• Assist residents onto/off the vehicle and to destination as needed.
• Notify supervisor of vehicle repairs.
• Complete daily van checklist and check fuel before trips.
• Monitor and follow vehicle inspection schedule.
• Keep driveways and walkways safe by removing hazards.
• Clean interior and exterior of van weekly.
• Report hazards or broken items to supervisor.
