Job summary

Covenant Living at Windsor Park in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a Part-time Driver to transport residents to medical appointments and community activities, and assist them in boarding and exiting the van.

The role requires a High School diploma, a valid driver’s license (CDL if applicable), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will perform daily vehicle checks, report repairs, and help keep the environment safe and welcoming for residents.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL License if applicable.
• 2+ years of experience driving transporting residents.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; physical ability for repeated standing/sitting and movements.

Responsibilities

• Drive the van on scheduled appointments and activities.
• Assist residents onto and off the vehicle and to destination.
• Notify supervisor of any required vehicle repairs.
• Complete van checklists daily and verify gas before trips.
• Monitor compliance with vehicle inspections.
• Keep driveways and walkways safe; report hazards to supervisor.
• Clean interior and exterior of van weekly.
