Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to deliver reliable, resident-focused transportation within our community. This role includes driving, coordinating requests in our transportation system, and supporting operational tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include vehicle readiness, assisting residents with mobility needs, and supporting programming with safe, on-time transportation services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid state Driver’s License (Class E) and clean MVR.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lift systems.
• Experience with older adults, transportation, or coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services during scheduled hours; cover designated medical transportation days.
• Safely operate vehicles to transport residents for medical, recreational, and personal needs.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in the digital transportation management system.
• Maintain vehicle readiness with routine inspections and cleanliness; ensure fuel levels.
• Support events with planning, logistics, and resident participation.
• Perform non-driving tasks during off-vehicle hours as needed to support operations.
