Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for residents to activities and outings. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid CDL may be required; prior customer service experience is preferred.

You will help residents board and exit vehicles, secure wheelchairs, and perform basic vehicle maintenance while supporting a safe, welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environment.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities and events.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure wheelchairs and use restraints to ensure safety during trips.
• Operate radio/c phone to communicate with base and other vehicles.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license renewal processes.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.
