Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities and events. You will assist with wheelchairs, ensure safe boarding, and maintain vehicles in good working order.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, be 21 or older, and may need a CDL depending on driving records. Prior customer service experience in a senior living setting is preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL may be required with an acceptable driving record according to Federal DOT regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and compliance with safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices during trips.
• Operate radio/ccell phone/pager to communicate with base or other vehicles.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewals.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition monthly and per trip.
