Job summary

Discovery Senior Living in Maryland is seeking a Driver to transport residents to activities, appointments, and community outings. You will deliver safe, courteous service to enhance resident independence and engagement each day.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, and the ability to assist residents with mobility. CDL may be required depending on community needs; competitive wages and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and operate mobility devices safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, safe, and courteous transportation for residents to activities and appointments.
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections at shift start and complete required reports.
• Assist residents with mobility into and out of vehicles safely.
• Secure wheelchairs, scooters, and devices using proper restraints during transport.
• Operate radios/phones and report delays or service disruptions as needed.
• Maintain vehicles in clean, safe condition and assist with minor servicing.
