Discovery Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for residents to activities, appointments, and community outings. You will conduct pre-trip inspections, assist residents with mobility, and ensure secure handling of mobility devices.

Qualifications

• Customer service or transportation experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to stay calm in emergencies.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility devices and lift or transfer equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules tied to resident activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, safe, and courteous transportation for residents to and from activities and appointments.
• Conduct vehicle inspections at shift start and complete required checklists/reports.
• Assist residents with mobility devices into and out of vehicles safely.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices during transport.
• Operate radios and communication devices to report delays or issues.
• Maintain and clean community vehicles and assist with basic servicing as needed.
• Follow routes, schedules, and safety procedures throughout shifts.
