Discovery Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for residents to activities, appointments, and community events. You will conduct pre-shift vehicle inspections, assist residents with mobility, and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout all trips.

The role emphasizes courteous service, adherence to schedules, and proper handling of mobility aids while maintaining vehicle readiness and clean, safe operation in a senior living environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; CDL may be required based on community needs.
• Ability to meet transportation and safety requirements.
• Previous customer service or transportation experience preferred; senior living experience a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide timely, safe, and courteous transportation for residents to activities and appointments.
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections at shift start and complete required checklists.
• Assist residents with mobility into/out of vehicles safely.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices during transport.
• Operate radios and report delays or service disruptions.
• Maintain and service community vehicles; keep clean and safe working condition.
• Follow routes and schedules, adjust for resident safety and service quality.
• Comply with safety procedures and transportation policies.
