Americare Senior Living is seeking a dependable Transportation Aide to safely transport residents to appointments and activities, while providing assistance and compassionate care. You will operate facility vehicles, assist residents entering/exiting, and maintain safety and professionalism.

The role emphasizes resident well-being, HIPAA respect, and teamwork with nursing staff. A CNA certification, high school diploma, and valid driver's license are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license; acceptable driving record per policy.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate facility vehicles to transport residents to and from scheduled destinations.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, including mobility and safety support.
• Provide supervision and attentive care to residents during transport.
• Maintain a courteous, respectful, and compassionate demeanor at all times.
• Ensure resident safety by following transportation and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding resident needs or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic safety checks of assigned vehicle.
• Protect resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
• Represent Americare positively when interacting with residents, families, and community partners.
