Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Resident Support Aide to join our Michigan living center. You will implement resident care plans, assist with ADLs, and help residents maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life in daily activities.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd, full-time or part-time options. Compensation ranges from $15.50 to $18.25 per hour with benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings, PTO, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Caregiving credentials (CNA/CENA/HHA) preferred.
• English communication skills required.
• Must be able to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care based on individualized service plans.
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, mobility, dining.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to supervisor.
• Document care and services as directed.
• Assist residents with meals and life-enrichment activities.

Position Purpose

Ensurethat all aspects of the residents’ personal care and service planareimplemented while assuring that the resident is treated with dignity and respect,assistingeach resident to be as independent and self-sufficient as possible.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience or certification preferred:CertifiedNursing Assistant (CNA), Competency Evaluated Nursing Assistant (CENA), Home Health Aide
• Minimum of 17 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to pass the state mandated criminal background screening.

Essential Functions

• Deliver care based on individualizedservice plans
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, mobility, dining)
• Respondpromptly to resident requests and call lights
• Observe and report changes inresidents’conditionto supervisor
• Document care and services as directed

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Ability tolift upto 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend,andassistresidents in all aspects of personal care.
• Handle emotional and physical demands of caregiving
