Community Housing Innovations (CHI) is seeking a part-time security/front-desk associate in Brentwood, NY. You will screen clients, monitor access, conduct rounds, and support emergencies while performing administrative tasks at the front desk.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years’ related experience, and strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus. Open shifts include weekends with overtime potential.

Competenze

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English; bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Office and internet usage.
• Physical ability to tour property, walk distances, and climb stairs.
• Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and document actions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and multi task.

Mansioni

• Maintain visibility to residents, staff, and visitors in a professional manner.
• Screen clients and visitors entering the facility; perform bag searches.
• Enforce facility policies and de-escalate crises with documentation.
• Conduct rounds, complete logs, incident reports, and front desk duties.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and fire safety procedures; assist with drills.
• Assist with room prep, turnover for new clients, and supply inventory.
• Inform management of hazardous conditions or supply needs.
